My First Open District Experience
I woke up at 5:30 a.m. in the morning. It was my open district
championship. I was little nervous that who will be my opponent. I went outside
and stroll for some time. After that I refreshed myself. I took off from
school. Then I ate my breakfast and I went to Guru Nanak Stadium with my Dadu
and Papa. There I read that my opponent’s name is Anupama. Then I went inside
and met my friends. One of my friend’s name was Vaasvi. I told her about who is
playing against me She told me that she is her friend and she play’s very fast
so be careful. I got nervous. After sometime the match started. She was really a champion. She made me lose my
sweat. My whole mouth turned hot and red.
She defeated me in both the matches. I was little bit disappointed but
my grandfather boosted me that was my first time to play. A person who practice
for 112 hours was playing with a person who was practising for 60 hours. So
when you will also practice more surely you will be able to defeat her. In life
to progress and achieve success a defeat is necessary. Then I reached home, ate
food and slept. I woke up and saw my mother. She motivated me and hugged me. After
hugging her I regained my confidence. She showed me the homework which she
copied from Shynaya. Then I did it. She made pasta for me. I was very happy.
Then I saw television. Overall it was a learning day.
