Together with a culture of work,
there must be a culture of leisure as gratification. To put it another way:
people who work must take the time to relax, to be with their families, to
enjoy themselves, read, listen to music, play a sport.
I am a happy go lucky girl. My
strength is my family. I love spending time with them. The simplest things in
my life give me the most pleasure: my mother cooking a good meal and I enjoy
relishing it. Apart from this, I love to do sketching, drawing and puzzle
solving. It is true that people can improve their personal ability by
practicing pursuits improving the mind. By doing the word puzzles, this activity
helps us raise the logical thinking and solve problems at work more
effectively. At the same time I am fond of reading books of different authors
but the author who made fall in love with reading is ‘Roald Dahl’. My favourite
book written by him is ‘Roald Dahl adventures’. His books are entertaining,
full of jokes and are my favourite choice of bedtime story. He has explored
realm of children in a magical way.
I don’t miss the chance to work on
Solar Walk App. While using this app, I visualise my –self floating in the
space as I want to know how the Milky Way looks like. I want to explore the unexplored planets. I
understand that astronauts remain in the space most of the time leaving their
family. I will miss my home but the excitement to traverse the extra-terrestrial
cannot stop me to fulfil my desire; and of course my books and sketch material
will keep me alive and creative.
I am firm believer - The best
intelligence test is what we do with our leisure.
true because intelligence is what intelligence does!!!!

ReplyDeleteI had read an article about how you used Minecraft to make lessons interesting earlier today on yourstory.com. To introduce myself, I am also an eighth grader from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. I am amazed at the way you used Minecraft to enrich your lessons and make them interesting. Your concept of "Each One, Teach Ten" was truly inspiring. I am also a Minecraft player, and have friends who play Minecraft as well. I would like to know how exactly you implemented Minecraft into your curriculum so that I may explore the same with my teachers and try implementing the same in our school. Any guidance from your end would be appreciated.
